MODERNISATION

The project “Reconstruction of sports facilities in Cieszyn at ul. Paderewskiego 9” included the comprehensive modernisation of the swimming pool, and was financed with the University’s own funds and the funds of institutional partners.

1. Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice (WFOŚiGW) – PLN 242,276.00 (subsidy),
   Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice (WFOŚiGW) – PLN 3,778,367,85.00 (loan),
2. Ministry of Sport and Tourism – PLN 3,500,000.00 (subsidy)
3. Cieszyn District – PLN 1,000,000.00 (subsidy),
4. Cieszyn County – PLN 500,000.00 (subsidy),

Own resources of the University of Silesia  – PLN 4,014,117.59.

Thanks to the commitment of all entities, a sports facility that meets the latest trends in indoor swimming pools was put into use by the academic community and residents of the city of Cieszyn and the Cieszyn County.
